From time to time we will contact you when you fit what a client is looking for and we will ask for you to come to the studio for an interview (referred to as an audition).  We never know what it may be for… maybe a reality TV show, maybe a commercial looking for a real plumber, maybe looking for the all-American Midwestern Family to have a pizza party, or if you take a certain medication and can speak authentically about it.  Since we cast for Commercials, Television and Film we look a wide variety of people of varying social, racial and economic backgrounds.  We may send you emails asking if you fit a certain description or type… Examples being: a weight loss promotion, if you use a brand of dish soap, or are single and looking for love.  We just never know what may come down the line which is why having you on file will be the quickest way for you to be considered.
Compensation (if chosen) varies from project to project.  On the very low end it may be a few hundred dollars or could be tens of thousands of dollars.  You can always say yes or no, but you will always be fully informed from us with as much information as we know.  And just to be extra clear… We are a Casting Director, we are not a Talent Agency (meaning we do not represent talent or try to get you jobs).  We do not ask or take any kind of percentage or in any way are compensated from you.  Our compensation comes from our client.  All we do is perform the search for what our clients’ needs are.

You’ll be the first to receive our casting notices when we have projects that require unusual talent or jobs, and are opened up to include people who aren’t actors and don’t have an acting background.
