OCC Perspectives - Sign Up!

Discussions are designed to give insight on a variety of evolving topics ranging from general industry questions, creative choices in auditioning, improvisational tools, self-tapes and virtual auditions, advising parents and child performers, and more. These are one-off, short, informative interactive discussions specifically created NOT to feel like classes. If you are looking for something different, then you have come to the right place. Booyah!

Group discussions range from $25 – $50 with 4 – 15 participants. One-on-ones range from $75 – $100.  We understand times are tough for the artistic community and want to offer everyone an opportunity so we’re also offering FREE group discussions (located at the bottom) for people who can’t afford it at this time.

ONE ON ONE DISCUSSIONS are always available and are scheduled via phone according to YOUR availability. Just click on the link to sign up for it and we’ll call you to schedule it!

GROUP DISCUSSIONS are scheduled when enough people sign up to form a group, so if you don’t see an available date / time option, that discussion may have just filled up. Don’t worry! You can sign up to receive an email when we’ve added a discussion you’re interested in.



ONE ON ONE WITH A CASTING DIRECTOR

VIRTUAL / SELF TAPE AUDITION HELP – TODAY’S CASTING WORLD

GROUP discussion on self-tape protocols, lighting suggestions, framing, eyelines, wardrobe, cue cards, working off of someone when virtual, and how to make the best of virtual and self-tape auditions. If you can join the meeting from your virtual set up spot, we can take a look at that.

ONE ON ONE with a casting professional to talk about Zoom or Self-Tape set ups at home: Take us on a tour of your place and we’ll talk through the best set ups. We’ll discuss virtual auditions and self-tapes, virtual callbacks with clients, and record a little bit of video for you to see your product yourself.

NEW TO THE BUSINESS & AUDITION BASICS

No matter if you’re in front of or behind the camera – understanding casting is an important key to success.  We’ll chat with you through the basics: what to expect at a casting office, in the audition room, searching for a talent agent, etc.  Become business savvy, get some insight into casting, and set yourself up for success!
